How do I setup Outlook Express to access my email from my account?

After setting up your account in cPanel, proceed as follows.

Step 1:
Open Outlook Express, click on Tools and choose Accounts

Step 2:
Click on Add and select Mail

Step 3:
Follow the Wizard adding the relevent details as requested

When you reach Email Server Names, set the Incoming Mail Server to POP3

Step 4:
Set the incoming mail server to mail.yourdomain.com

Step 5:
Set the outgoing mail server to mail.yourdomain.com
(Note: Some ISP's may require the SMTP to be set to your ISP's SMTP server. Check this with your ISP if required.)

If you set the SMTP/Outgoing mailserver to your mail.yourdomain.com, be sure you select "My Server Requires Authentication". If you are using your ISP's mailserver, this option is not required.

Step 6:
Under the Account Name field, add your full email address (ie:user@domainname.com), and put your password into the required field

Click Next

Then Click Finish

Step 7:
Close the Internet Accounts box

then Click Send/Recv button at the top

And your Outlook Express is now fully functional with your email.
