WHMCS V4.0.2 Patch Released

WHMCS have issued the following important announcement for all WHMCS users:

An SQL injection vulnerability has been discovered where a variable is being incorrectly sanitized. We are therefore releasing patches for both versions 3.8 and 4 to address this.

The patch can be downloaded from the client area and installation is simply a case of replacing the 2 files involved. There is no upgrade or install process required.

An email announcement will be going out shortly.

If you have any questions regarding this patch or wish for us to perform the upgrade, please contact us immediately.

Note: If you wish for Hightek Hosting to perform this patch for you, as it is a very straight forward patch, we wil charge a $15 fee as opposed to our normal $29.95 upgrade charge.
